Service Description

This is a dynamic, active, yang energy, Vinyasa yoga class. A vinyasa is a smooth transition between yoga postures, otherwise known as asana, in a flowing style. Vinyasa yoga is one of the most popular, more contemporary styles of yoga. It is also referred to as flow yoga as we place an emphasis on linking the breath with movement while creating a continuous flow of postures throughout the class. In this class, we will work through a series of sun salutations and yoga postures. This level requires some experience and is not suitable for absolute beginners. A medium paced, active and energetic, morning yoga class to wake up the mind and body, strengthening and lengthening the muscles and core to improve flexibility and balance, while placing appropriate load bearing on the joints to maintain the health of bones. An emphasis is placed on breathing techniques which encourages mind-body awareness as we flow through yoga postures and condition the mind and body for end of class savasana and meditation.
